Rainy and cloudy. Miserable kind of day.
I had a pretty good day today. I managed to get out of bed at a reasonable time today. Yay me. I showered and then spent a lot of time at my computer. Most of the day in fact. However, I did go through one more drawer today. I found a bunch of stuff that I'd forgotten I had. I found a beautiful nightgown that Fumihiko had bought for me when we were in Canada...it's so gorgeous that I could get married in it. (If I ever do that again!) It was at the back of my drawer in perfect condition, so I'll keep it, and surprise him with it one of these nights!
I had a nice lunch. I watched some of Gray's Anatomy and then left for the school. I made good time, and got there and set up. I had planned to be at the school most of the day today, but my early student cancelled so I didn't have to be.
My night student was early today. Ten minutes early. I was just going to brush my teeth when he rang the bell. I was a bit perturbed. I don't like it when students come early, and especially when children come early. I feel a bit like a baby-sitter then. He usually isn't early, but tonight he was. Sigh.
I c-mailed hubby after I finished. He'd just finished work, so he came to get me and we came home. I wondered what to do with my zucchini that was in the fridge, so I decided to try making breaded fried zucchini. I had some low carb flour, so I used that. It worked quite well, but when it was finished I had a bunch of egg mixture left, so I combined the two and had a kind of pancake. It was a savoury one, rather than a sweet dessert type.
Fumihiko made ginger pork, so we had fried zucchini, pancake, ginger pork and salad. It was all quite nice. I think he liked it. I know that I did. He did the dishes afterwards, even though he didn't have to. I volunteered, but he wanted to do them.
We spent a quiet evening at home after that. I watched the rest of Gray's Anatomy. I waited so hubby could watch it, but he fell asleep on it! He's on the couch now, snoring away! Poor thing. He was busy today and he's tired too.
Anyway, we're off to Niigata after my classes tomorrow. The plan is to come home on Monday night. In between, well, who knows? I'll maybe tell you on Monday. Maybe!
