Cloudy, and cooler. Nice day.
This was a much better day than yesterday, but it didn't really start that way. My alarm went off, and kept going off while I kept turning it off. (I couldn't get up today!) All of a sudden I got a charley horse in my right leg and it woke me up. It hurt, but I managed to massage it out.
I got up, showered and proceeded to do bugger all around the apartment today. And it felt great! I watched last night's Without a Trace, then went out for lunch. I rode my bike over to Marumatsu. I had a so so lunch. I started reading Brother Odd today and it's quite good. Dean Koontz has invented a great character. I just hope that he doesn't over do him. And, note to Mr. Koontz....Where oh where is the third Frankenstein novel??? I want to know!
After lunch I hopped back on my bike and went to S-mall. I took my watch in to get a new battery. The clerk told me to come back in 10 minutes, but I didn't know what time it was at that point! I looked at a clock in the store and decided I'd just go for coffee. I did. I had a nice coffee in Doutours and then picked up my watch. I realized when I got back to the watch store that the clock I had looked at was still on the same time. It was there to be fixed too. Ha ha. They say that a broken clock still tells the right time twice a day, I guess that I must have come at the right time today!
I came home and worked on my computer a bit and watched today's CSI: New York. Fumihiko came home right at the end of the show. He offered to take my bike to the shop for me, so that's what we did. We went over there and the man fixed my bike. He tightened some bolts. He said that it might happen again. That's a bit worrying, but maybe I'll be able to fix it myself next time! He didn't charge me either.
Neither of us was really hungry yet, so we didn't go for dinner. We ended up driving to the mall in Mikawa. Fumihiko offered to buy me a coffee, so we went there, and had some. I had a cappucino and hubby had an icy coffee drink. We bumped into an ex-student/friend of ours while we were there, so that was a nice treat. We prowled the mall, looking for Coppertone sunblock, but it's already been put away I think. I'm going to get mine in the Duty Free (I need hypo-allergenic stuff) but this was for Fumihiko. We still weren't hungry, so we drove some more. This time we drove to Sakata.
We went to the Jusco there and walked around a little. We didn't buy anything, but it was nice to do a bit of "window shopping".
On the way back to Tsuruoka, Fumihiko suggested going to Moku-moku. It was a good choice as we still weren't really hungry. They aren't famous for big portions, so not being hungry was okay for there. We had a nice meal. We both had pork in a mustard cream sauce. Yum.
We came home and then spent a nice evening together.
So that was it. My day. Not bad for a change. I'll talk to you tomorrow. Night.
