Text Box: Cyin was at the Pebbly throwing stones. Angry hot tears rushed down from her eyes. Suddenly Mij appeared. He sat down beside her and pointed his empty shoulders. Cyin leaned on his shoulders and cried even harder. "I hate myself… it was all too late… it took me five years to realize how important he is in my life and now he’s leaving… I really hated myself…" Mij had his arms over her now and Cyin cried in his arms. After Cyin had cooled down, Mij asked, "Is Jon leaving?" Cyin sniffed, "Yea… he’s leaving to Australia for further studies…" "Did you tell him how much important he is in your life? If he knew he would surely stay behind." Mij stood up and threw a pebble, strong and hard into the river. He turned his attention to Cyin. "No… I don’t one to hinder his bright further ahead. Not everyone had got the chance to get the scholarship and I know if not for me all these years he would had accepted an offer 2 years ago. I just hated myself for not cherishing what I had till it’s gone…" Cyin stood up too. "When’s he leaving?" Mij asked. "Today 5:30pm…" Mij checked the time, "It’s already 5pm! Aren’t you going?" "He asked me not to see him off because he doesn’t want the separation to be made harder." The two stood under the orange-red evening sky. An aeroplane flew by and both shouted farewell to Jon. "Goodbye Jon! See you in 3 years’ time from now!" Cyin shouted from the top of her lungs, "I love you! Goodbye!!!" Mij took Cyin’s hand, "I’ll take you to a place where you can shout all your troubles and lungs out." Home
