Air Raid vs. The Jung Dragons
Air Raid and the Jung Dragons went back and forth
at the beginning of the match. With lots of high
flying moves, the Dragons hold the advantage for
a while but when Air Raid hit the Crash and Burn
they took over. Paris went off on Yang on the
turnbuckle but Yang threw him off and into a
powerbomb. The tags were made and Kaz held
control. The fight went back and forth a bit but
the Jung Dragons held control until the end where
Kaz hit a innovative move and landed Paris back
first and he got the pinfall.
Winners: The Jung Dragons
Dustin Rhodes makes his way to the ring with a
black bag in one hand and a mic in the other.
Dustin tells them to roll the footage of Nitro
where Dusty Rhodes rubbed Ric Flair's face in a
donkey's a$$. Dustin then takes some of the stuff
out of the bag. First is a game: Pin the Naitch
on the Donkey. He then pulled out some chapstick
and mouthwash. Ric Flair gets on the big screen
and he is mad. He goes on a rant and tells Dustin
that he is his boss and he is giving him a career
boosting match tonight in the main event. It will
be against Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner. Dustin
says that he never backs away from a fight. He
then hold four fingers up and tells him they mean:
kick, my, dad's a$$!
Jason Jett vs. Cash
The former ECWers got together for a match. The
beginning of the match went back and forth. Cash
they Jett out of the ring and then jumped over
the top rope and hit a head scissors take over.
They got back into the ring and as Cash jumped
in, Jett nailed him. Jett then put Cash in the
pendulum. Cash didn't give so Jett dropped him.
Cash got some momentum going and threw Jett to
the outside. Cash then flipped off the top rope
and nailed Jett. "ECW!" chants were
heard througout. Cash continued to dominate as
the match made its way back to the ring. Jett got
some momentum and nailed Cash's head into the
floor. The match continued going back and forth
and their were many near falls. Cash after
getting a Afterburner was able to hit the Money
Maker but again Jett kicked out. Cash then went
to the second rope and jumped off but Jett nailed
him in the gut. Jett followed it up with the
Crash and Burn for the win.
Winner: Jason Jett
Kanyon and Road Warrior Animal vs. M.I. Smooth
and The Cat with Ms. Jones
Cat and Kanyon started the match. Cat took an
early advantage and beat down on Kanyon. Smooth
was tagged in and asked for Animal. Animal took
control and threw Smooth back and forth and
finally knocked him down with a flying shoulder
block. Smooth tagged in Cat and Anmal dominated
him. Cat was able to come back as he hit a series
of kicks and he finally knocked Animal down.
Kanyon and Animal took turns on Cat. Kanyon got
Cat in a reverse chin lock. Cat fought out but
Kanyon knocked him down. Kanyon went to the top
rope and Cat took him off with a powerbomb. Cat
really started to come back but Animal came into
the ring while Cat was dancing and gave him a
clothesline. Smooth was tagged in and dominated
Kanyon. Meanwhile, Cat and Animal fought on the
outside. Inside the ring, Smooth dominated and
was able to get a pinfall after a big splash on
Kanyon.
Winners: Cat and M.I. Smooth
Rick Steiner vs. Hugh Morrus with Konnan
Before the match started, the ref told Konnan to
get out of there. Hugh awaits Steiner in the ring.
Steiner finally comes back in and the bell rings.
Hugh ran Steiner out of the ring but when Hugh
came out he missed Rick and his arm went right
into the ringpost. This gave Steiner the
advantage, and he held it for a while. Steiner
dominated and hit a bulldog of the top rope.
Steiner went for the pin but Hugh got on the
ropes. Steiner contrinued to dominate but seemed
to have a problem with one of the fans and went
to the outside. This gave time for Hugh to rest
and when Rick got in the ring Hugh clotheslined
him and the momentum shifted. Hugh hit a splash
and went for another but Rick put the ref in the
way and Hugh stopped. Rick took advantage of this
and took control. Rick then got a chair and
nailed Hugh with it. He then set the chair on
Hugh's arm and then called out Shane Douglass.
Shane came out and Rick attacked him. Rick was
beating him up good but Shane got a good shot
with his cast and Hugh followed it up with a
German suplex for the win. After the match, Shane
gave the ref a tape. What's on it?
Winner: Hugh Morrus

Basically he challenges Rick Steiner for a match
at Nitro.
Six Man Tag Team Match: Prime Time/Kid Romeo/Chavo
Guerrero Jr. vs. Rey Mysterio Jr./Sugar Shane
Helms with Sugarbabies/Billy Kidman
Kidman and Chavo start the match. They went back
and forth but Kidman came out on top and was able
to tag in Shane. From there the fight went back
and forth between all the wrestlers. Soon all the
fighters were on the outside and Kidman took all
three men out with a crossbody. As they went back
to the ring though, Chavo's team was dominating.
They kept Rey in the corner and really beat down
on him. Romeo got Rey in a rear chin lock but he
fought out of it. Rey was thrown into the corner
but as Romeo went for a splash, Rey nailed him
with his foot and then followed up with a DDT.
Shane was tagged in and he dominated Romeo and
Kidman jumped in with a flying elbow drop. As
Kidman came in the match went crazy and wrestlers
were everywhere. Finally, Romeo was in the ring
with Kidman and Romeo signaled for the Last Kiss.
Kidman reversed it and hit the Kid Krusher and
got the pinfall.
Winners: Kidman/Mysterio/Helms
Backstage, Chuck Palumbo warns Awesome that if he
tag team partner comes down to interfere, so with
O'Haire.
Mike Awesome vs. Chuck Palumbo
Awesome dominated the beginning of the match
pretending he is a cruiserweight. Mike put Chuck
in a headlock and Chuck fought out just to get
back into another. Mike then threw Chuck into the
ropes. Chuck tried to reverse it but Mike held
control. Awesome got Chuck in a reverse chin lock
and then Chuck went to the outside. Awesome
followed and threw him into the ropes. Chuck
fought back but Mike threw him into the steps.
Mike then took a chair and nailed him with it but
Chuck blocked it and he took the chair for
himself and swung it at Awesome. They went back
into the ring and Mike continued to dominate.
Mike missed the running Awesome Bomb and Chuck
hit a suplex. Chuck had the upperhand as they
went to the outside. Mike rolled back into the
ring and Chuck met him with a flying elbow.
Awesome took control and tried to hit a
frogsplash but Chuck moved and he missed. At this
point, Lance Storm came out and went after Chuck
and threw him back in the ring. As promised,
O'Haire followed and he fought him on the outside
while Chuck dominated on the inside and got the
win.
Winner: Chuck Palumbo
Backstage, Animal went into Ric Flair's dressing
room and he was knocked out on the floor. Animal
was angry.
Main Event: Dustin Rhodes vs. Scott Steiner
and Dustin Rhodes
The match begins with Dustin and Jarrett in the
ring. Dustin was quickly going for the "dust
buster" but the distraction by Steiner
allowed Jarrett to escape. Steiner was tagged in
and he dominated. He made the pin, but then let
go of it and started doing push ups and screamed
at the ref to count. The ref wouldn't do it.
Steiner tied Dustin to the tree of woe. Steiner
distracted the ref and Jarrett choked him.
Jarrett was tagged in. Dustin managed to get a
rollup on Steiner, but Steiner distracted the ref.
Dustin was actually mounting an offense, and had
a pin on Jeff Jarrett. Steiner then hit Dustin
with the pipe from behind. The ref was distracted
by Midajah. Steiner then set Dustin up for the
recliner and Dustin was out. The ref called for
the bell and the two get the victory. Steiner and
Jarrett raise their hands high. Steiner puts
Dustin back in the recliner and Jarrett stomps
Steiner. Booker T runs out and attacks both men.
The "season finale" of WCW Thunder ends
with Steiner and Booker staring each other down.
