I love to eat. Lucky for me, I married a man who is not only good lookin and knows how to treat a lady - but he CAN COOK.
Here is my favorite receipt for stuff I cook:
STRAWBERRY PIE
Go to the strawberry patch with a big bucket.
Skip the picking part, Go to the back of the shed and buy 2 quarts.
Stop off at Shoney's on the way home and buy a fresh Strawberry pie.
Come home and fan yourself vigorously while you pour them out of the bucket into the sink while announcing how hard it is to pick strawberries.
Get out the pie pan, the flour and all the makings for the pie crust and the filling.
Turn on the oven to 350 degrees.
Tell everybody to get out of the kitchen and go set on the back porch for a spell.
Scoop the strawberries out of the sink and put them in a paper sack.
Take the sack of strawberries, sneak out the front door, take them to the little Yankee girl across the street who likes to cook. get the pie out of the truck toolbox and put it in the refrigerator. Turn off the oven. Put away the pie pan.
Go play on the webby for about an hour.
Go back to the kitchen, put flour on the front of your apron, on your face and wrists.
Open the back door and announce: DESSERT IS READY.
Break out the Cool Whip and serve with a smile.
Accept all the hugs and thank yous graciously
