Justin Randall Timberlake was born January 31st, 1981 in Memphis Tennessee. He is the youngest member of 'N Sync. He has been performing since the age of seven and loves to sing, dance, and make people laugh. He began his professional career at the age of 12 when he became a member of the Disney Channel's The Mickey Mouse Club (MMC). This is when Justin acquired his love for acting and performing. He is a sports freak who loves basketball, and his dream is to be successful either as a performer or as a basketball star. Well, we all know that he's got at least ONE of those dreams fulfilled! As for being a basketball star, Justin still has some growing to do!
Justin says that he loves to make people laugh and that his most prized possession is his voice (and what a great voice that is!). Justin is a huge basketball fan. He loves the Magics and his favorite player is Anfernee Hardaway. But he does admire Michael Jordan because "he's the greatest competitor of all time".
Justin hasn't graduated high school yet but he is in an independent study specially designed for performers and athletes. He loves in-line skating and of course, shooting hoops.
Justin was only on MMC for 2 short years/seasons but during his time on the show, he proved to everybody that he could make it as a performer. As time went by, Justin was in skit after skit, performance after performance and boy did he shine! My favorite song that he sang on MMC was "I'll Take You There" which he sang with Britney Spears (don't you think they would've made a cute couple?). Anyway, that's when I really noticed this blonde-haired, blue-eyed cutie. I guess it's because his hair was a little bit tamer than usual - he was wearing a bandana after all.
When asked about his major musical inspiration, Stevie Wonder, Justin says, "Oh man, he's a brilliant musician. I think he's just the ambassador of soul." Along with old-time fave Stevie, Justin adds, "I like Puff Daddy and all kinds of hip hop and R&B." (You go boy!).
Justin has a new look for 1998 - he frosted his hair a kind of white/gold blonde. I must admit, it looked weird at first but after a little while, the color faded a bit and he looked soooo good! He also got an earring on his right ear - I guess to balance it out? =O) One more thing.....not only does he have 2 earrings.....he now has 3!!! If any of you out there have seen 'N Sync's performance on MTV Live on April 15th, you know what I'm talking about! Justin has ANOTHER earring in his left ear. It's actually up on top. They gave it to me at Christmas, three years ago...The watch and the necklace...you know...but i don't wear the 'N Sync tag with the orginal necklace. It's from my grandma.."
