It all started in Vancouver, when in 1995 Rob Wade played a demo tape for Garth, Of course Garth liked it because Rob is a very talented musician and Garth has impeccable taste.

Rob (who's on the drums) had played in a long line of other band's so he knew where the shit was at. Rolling Stone has said "Wade continually pushes his fellow musicians forward"

They picked up Guitarist, Bryan Fratesi and recorded Harsh and Discord (An EP.) Some radio station's picked it up (like our local power 97). But more importantly Jar developed a solid fan base.

When Tom MacDonald joined in 1998, they had a reputation for live show's and they toured across Canada being opening act's for band's like Filter, Nashville Pussy and Judas Priest.

Knott Skull was there first full length disc. Then they toured, and toured, and toured. They were signed to Columbia Record's Renamed themselves "Flybanger" and released Headtrip to Nowhere" in late 2000. They worked with Matt Wallace on this album(Who you may remember from his work on Faith no More) Matt brought in former Faith No More Guitarist Jim Martin to sit in for a few tracks.

Outlived (My fav.) Is there last recording, they made the video for the song in Winnipeg that show's the way they rock at live show's

Flybanger just may be the hardest working band in Rock and Roll they seem to average about 200 show's a year and spend most of there time on the road.
In 2002 Tom left the band and started back up Big Fat Scratch. Torry has joined up and they started to tour, but not before resurecting Jarr. I've alway's loved Jar/flybanger/Jarr no matter who, but shitty thing's happened when they were flybanger so I think it's great that there back to Jarr.
Of course they arn't Jarr anymore. The bands broken up and most were in a band called Settlement, witch in now also broken up. As of late I can't figure out where the boys are. Garth supposidly hooked up with Kai from noise therapy. Tom with Everything after, but I can't find anything to conferm either.
