m. 10-7-1867 Daniel John Gering, b. 5-18-1846, d. 8-11-1911; 8 Children
refer to P&E Kaufman F. Record p 258 for descendants. Anna with her
husband, Daniel, came to America from Russia with three children. The
youngest son died at sea. This was a heart breaking experience. After
arriving at Marion SD they settled on a farm east of Town. These early
years were very difficult, however, she raised her family of 7 children.
One son was blind at birth. Anna lived five more yhears after Daniel
died. Most of her last years were spent at the home of her oldest son,
Joe, where she passed away adt the age of 86.
