Composite Cable Help Below are a set of instructions on how to connect your A/V Cable from your game console to you TV or VCR. 1. Make sure both the console and TV are off. Although the TV doesn't need to be off it is safer for the equipment and the user. 2. Connect the side opposite the red, white and yellow jacks into your gaming console. The GameCube, Dreamcast, Playstation 2, Xbox and Nintendo 64 all use the same technique. 3. Connect the three colored jacks into their respective colors on the TV. Make sure you're plugging them into the "input" because you're sending data from the games to the TV. 4. Now plug in the A/C Adapter that came with the console. 5. Turn on the TV and find what extension channel you plugged your A/V cables into. Normally televisions will have one to three different places to plug sets of composite cables into so you must be sure of what extension number you're on. 6. Turn on your game system and voila! Lights, sound and interactivity! Also be sure not to stick genitals into plug outlets. |
