Oooo Eeee! (That's the noise of a monkey)

chara_art.jpg (36233 bytes)We all love Samba!!!! Let me here yeah say it! p_samba_ss1.jpg (29573 bytes)

It seems that now more than ever it's hard to

find games that truly stand out like Mario 64

stood out 4 years ago.  There are so many

"me too" games on the market that it can be

quite confusing at times if you're the ignorant p_samba_ss2.jpg (36171 bytes)

type. When do we come to the realization that

we simply cannot take anymore of these games

due to uninspired game play?  Here is where

Samba De Amigo steps in and gives us our

long over due reward. This game is filled to the brimp_samba_ss3.jpg (27983 bytes)

with pure fun that anyone can pick up and play.

It doesn't matter if you've never even touched

a controller in your life or your the hardcore gamer type

this game will rock your world. Samba De Amigo is a

music game where players take control of some

stylish maracas and dance to the rhythm of the game.

I've played through the game already but I will

not stop there by any means.

When I pick up those maracas (or controller) a euphoric rush of

Latino craziness flows through my veins. Songs such as "Take On Me"

from Real Big Fish and "Tequila" as well as MANY others make a welcome

appearance. I must stress that this game has a great deal

of quality songs to dance along to like a drunken fool. When you

first play the game you may feel a bit out of place dancing and

shaking along with the music but eventually you'll lose all

inhibitions and be a mean lean dancin machine.  The gameplay is quite

simple at first as all that is required to do is shake along with the song

at different heights of the body, high, medium and low. But once

you enter hard mode it will take great skill to successfully

pass each level. Don't be fooled by it's appearance, this game

is very deep and offers a lot of replay value. Read my instructions

of how to throw a great Samba Party below.
