JANUARY-JUNE

These are important dates from the history of Doctor Who. To save space I have noted only the broadcast dates of the first episode of the story unless there is a notable occurance, i.e. companion leaving or a Doctor's regeneration, in a later episode. Dates that deal with the actors lives have been highlighted in red. I have found these in books and calendars of all sorts and if you catch any errors or have any additions I would be happy to know about them.

    ***Episode 1 of The Warriors Gate airs. This story ends the E-Space Trilogy (1981)
    ***Episode 1 of Arc Of Infinity airs. This story features the return of Omega and Colin Baker makes an appearance as Maxil on Gallifrey (1983)
  • JAN 04: Episode 1 of Castrovalva airs and introduces Peter Davison as the 5th Doctor (1982)
  • JAN 05: Episode 1 of Warriors Of The Deep airs. This is the return of the Silurians and the Sea Devils since 1972 (1984)
    ***Episode 1 of Attack Of The Cybermen airs, The series is now being aired in 45 minute episodes (1985)

    ***Episode 1 of Enlightenment airs. This story ends the Black Guardian storyline that began in Ribos Operation (1983)
