Jess is feeling awful after the party. The next day she goes to school and finds out everyone is calling her a slut. Lila runs after her and tells her to come back to class but Jess just can't.
Meanwhile Liz is shocked to learn that Meghan's brother is Conner McDermott. She can't believe it. She starts hanging with Conner's best friend's Tia and Andy. They all go to a club called the Riot they take Maria too. There after some heavy flirting Maria hooks up with Conner. Liz is not pleased.
Tia knows everyone thinks that Angel and her are a perfect couple but she thinks that as soon as he goes to Stanford he'll forget all about her she decides to just cut her losses and break up with him before he leaves.
Jess decides to bit the bullet and apologize to Melissa She just can't take the toture any more. She goes up to Melissa's table at the riot and Cherie calls her a slut Jessica tells Lila and Amy to come with her but they stay. Jess realizes that she has no friends.
By the end of the book Maria thinks Conner is her boyfriend but the question remains...Does he feel the same about her?
