Dave Atkinson belaying in SE Gully on Creagan Dubh Loch. This is a straightforward snow climb apart from once ice section which can be anything from 10 - 100ft depending on conditions.
This was late in the season and the biggest challenge was the large overhanging cornice at the top of the gully.
With soft snow and a couple of less than ideal rock anchors Dave was a little bit anxious (especially with 100ft of rope and no runners between us) as he surmounted the cornice
