Illinois 25 is a north-south route connecting towns in the Fox Valley. IL25, mainly running along the eastern side of Kane County, is generally faster than IL31, which runs on the west side of the Fox River; IL25 follows the east side of the river.

IL64 at St. Charles
IL38 at Geneva
IL56 by North Aurora*
IL25 ends at US34 at Oswego.
It passes through these towns: Algonquin, Carpentersville, East Dundee, Elgin, South Elgin, St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia, N. Aurora, Aurora, Montgomery, Oswego.
*- IL25 passes under US30. To get to US30 from IL25, take Fernwood east to Briarcliff north. This ends up at US30. IL25 also passes under I-88 without an interchange. However, IL31, on the other side of the river, does. To reach I-88, simply cross the river at the Sullivan Road bridge, just south of the I-88 underpass, to get to IL31 and go north to I-88.
