Bitterbite ~ A small green stalk similar to asparagus. Raw, boiled or chopped and added to meats it enhances flavors and brightens a dull meal. A favorite of all those who find themselves regularly subsisting on dried rations.
Blackgrasp ~ A small blue flower with three to five petals with long black roots resembling a grasping hand, giving its name. A commonly accepted aphrodesiac, the roots are considered most potent, though some hold that the flowers too can be ground and consumed for similar effect.
Dragontail ~ A long plant with greenish blue leaves posessing spined ridges, suggesting the tail of a dragon. Provides great warmth when ingested, raising internal body temperature significantly. Fallbloom ~ A four petaled orange flower with red streaks. 'The Fallen Soldier's Salvation' proper timing and application can mend even the most grave of injuries.
Milkleaf ~ A plant named for the milk white buds in spring, known to induce lactation. Also known as 'Nadezdha's Mercy' and 'Kalma's Love' as Kalma is the patron Saint of orphans in the Church of the Lady.
Nightmaid's Delight ~ A dark blue flower with a pleasant scent. Named after an old folklore spirit who favors it. Supposedly a bundle left for her on a couple's wedding night will bring her blessing to their union.
Pepperlight Moss ~ A light green moss which grows in arctic climes which lights easily with the slightest spark, it is highly prized among survivalists.
