The first true denizen of the Dreamtime encountered by Tokala, Dog was at first a frightening creature to behold, for one unused to the Dreamtime's way of skewing sight and reality. Swirling and shifting blues, blacks and purples with dripping green fangs he was convinced Dog intended to make a meal of him, but soon learned that such was not the case. He was instead a guide, one who shared many qualities with Tokala, that being the reason he was drawn to the boy when he first crossed over.

Name: Kru'tschek
Type: Bane
Allegiance: Nightmare Queen

A foe of great power, far beyond Tokala's grasp of the Dreamtime and how to manipulate it. This bane was the creature who had taken over Annie's pap, whom Tokala swore to fight though he had no idea its strength beforehand and unwisely entered its very lair where its strength was greatest. Kru'tschek's great pride and blind luck allowed Tokala to survive, having been punched through to another part of the Dreamtime.

Type: Small sunbear in a vest

A jolly looking sunbear in a cute vest, strongly reminiscent of a circus bear, Tokala was uncertain what to make of him at first either, but he proved to be a guardian of Annie's in his own right. Though his powers were hindered by her portrayal of him as such an amusing creature, his vindication to safeguard her was in no way diminished.

Type: Nightmare crow
Allegiance: Dreamtime vs. Dark Queen

An obnoxious creature who's intent is unclear, Corax delights in spooking any who cross his path, particularly if they inadvertantly flee into a nightmare hole and find themselves trapped in someone else's night terrors.

Name: Shalamesh
Type: Native creature
Allegiance: Dreamtime vs. Dark Queen

Shalamesh is a curious creature, resembling in ways a mole, dog and rat, he is a watcher, observing the dreams and nightmares of others as he feeds on parasites who seek to feed on those very visions, distorting them. Shalamesh is a reserved creature, but he has become very observant and dedicated to his task of preserving the dreams in their original state, despite how much their owners may wish to be rid of them.
