I took these pictures when my family visted me in Northern Michigan May 13-19, 2004.
OK, this isn't Northern Michigan, but it's a picture I took during my visit to ISU. I just thought it was funny with my shadow in the shot. It kind of looks like big foot!
This picture is from the middle of winter and the ice cycles hanging off my apartment!

This picture was obviosly from April when we still had snow on the ground. Had enough snow to build a snowman on my deck.

Another view of the bridge. This bridge spans 3 miles and is the only connection between lower and upper michigan. One of the greatest engineering marvels as ocean freighters can pass underneath this bridge!

Another view of the island. All transportation on the island is done by bicycle and horse. It's a great experience and highly recommended. You will see nothing like it anywhere in the world!
