Disclaimer
Just to get this out of the way. I am not responsible for any damage done to you gun. I recomend getting a spare parts kit so if some thing goes wrong you can fix it. Remember Tippmann has the best service, so if something goes wrong send it back to them if you can't fix it. I also recommend you visit tippmann's site and read up on your gun and make sure you have at least a basic understanding of your gun
Good Luck,
All mods are assuming you have at least a basic understanding of the gun
Proven Mods
Profesional Trigger Job/Polished internals
This is the same thing that a $30 trigger job would do. A proper trigger job will alow for a smooth and easy trigger pull allowing for a quicker rate of fire.
Tools Needed
- Small hex wrench that came with gun
- 1000 grit sand paper or finer
- sharpening stone (optional)
- SL-2 Trigger Spring
- rags
- Polishing compound (I use turtle wax hard shell)
-
- Remove the rear bolt
- Remove the O-ring on it so it doesnt get damaged
- Sharpen the ramp where the sear slides down to release the rearbolt. (Do not round it or else the sear won't catch properly and it will auto fire)
- Sand the bolt down really well. It should be shiny and silver by the time you are done
- remove front bolt and linkage arm
- Sand linkage arm till it is silver and coat with polishing compund
-
Open up the lower reciever
- Take out the sear sand and sharpen all of the edges
- Take out the Trigger and sharpen the lip where the sear sits
- Replace Trigger spring with SL-2 trigger spring
- Wipe everything down good and coat with polishing compound (use alot)
- Reassemble gun with polishing compound still on all parts and O-ring removed using no oil (DO NOT DO ANYTHING TO THE FRONT BOLT, LEAVE IT OUT WHILE DRY FIRING)
- Dry fire the gun about 20-30 times.
- Open up and recoat all parts with polishing compound again
- Fire for another 20-30 times
- Open back up and wipe every thing down good I mean every where you don't wany any of the compound lef in the gun.
- Now look a the bolt if done properly there should be a really shiny spot where the sear makes contact.
- Reassembe gun completely oil and have fun

Tools Needed
- Dowel at least 12"
- Drill
- Lots of clean rags
- Polishing compound
- Place dowel in drill like it was a bit
- Wrap the dowel in rags so it will bearly fit in the barrel
- coat the rags in Polishing Compound, use a lot
- Turn on drill and run dowel through the barrel trying to get an even shine
- Remove dowell and let barrel sit
- Follow the same procedures just use a dry rag without compound on it
- Run under hot water and squeege clean

Lowers loader making the gun have a smaller profile
Tools Needed
- Small saw or X-acto knife
