Upgrades
Here is a list of aftermarket upgrades, what they do, and some reviews.
Barrels
There are several barrels that i do not have personal experience or detailed reviews, But i feel are note worthy so i will post what i have heard on them.
Smart Parts Boss Poggressive
This is one of the Barrels I personaly use, It is extremely accurate and fairly quited, When it first came out it was one of the most recommended barrels -Jiimi
The barrel I have on my Carbine and my 'Cocker is a Smart Parts Boss Progressive. These perform VERY well with RP Scherer Premium and Premium Gold although you won't hear too much hype surrounding them.
Listen, at least half of what you hear about barrels is hype. You can learn this by buying "hot" or "the latest" barrels and find out that they're no big deal or you can just read up and talk to people who've been there and can justify their opinion.
What you want is about 10-12" of the smoothest unported, bore you can find. I'd add about 2" if you'd like a little porting to cut down on noise.
The Boss (or its flashier brother, the TearDrop) are just that. They are 12" of 1-piece barrel (no stupid seams, etc ...) with a mirror-like finish. Also, they are made of aluminum making them very lightweight. The Boss is around $50 with the TearDrop another $15 or more depending on the cosmetic features you want.

PMI Perfect Bore Ceramik
Shoots straight as hell, Is quieter than any silencer barrel ( he he) , and IF, IF , IF by some chance your using sh@ty old paint, and you actually break a ball in it, it will shoot clean fast! I also like the dark dull color of the barrel. Nice for that extra steath.....Not like a nice Shiny S.S. DYE.
Carbon Fiber
My carbon fiber barrel works great on my carbine. The inside matches well with rp premium also. it is accurate and not terribly expensive if you order it from eastern paintball it also cleans after a few shots after a ball break. (I've only had one, and it was with nelsons.)glacier-2
Dye Boomstick
This is one of the most talked about barrels now a days, From what ive heard its extremly accurate, but some what loud, the other draw back is it cost 100+
Lapco Bigshot
Another Hot barrel today, Its essentialy the same barrel as the Boomstick, only costs about half the price. The only difference is its claimed to be alot louder
.45 Frame
$30-40 This really only applies to the Prolite, Some find the .45 frame to me more comfortable, Its really a matter of preference, but it doesn't really affect the performance
Two Finger Trigger
$15-25 Increase rate of fire and makes pulling the trigger easier
Remote
$40-100 takes CO2 bottle of of marker and makes it lighter
Power Feed
$50 This is another questionable upgrade, Claimed to increase ball feeding and reduce chopped balls. But for the same price you can get and agitated loader which is much better
Vl200+
$50-80 Feeds balls into gun at about 12-16 balls per second, only really needed if you chop ball.
Rear Velocity Adjustor RECOMMENDED
$15-30 replaces end cap uses mainspring to adjust velocity. I bought one from air tipps and i highly recommend this part, it keeps a more consistant velocity and increase gas efficency
Expansion Chamber
$40-100 This used to be the savior of paintball guns, by allowing CO2 to expand before it reaches the gun and keeping the liquid out of the gun. But it has proven not really neccesary, especially on tippmans, for the same price i recomed a Regulator
Regulator RECOMMENDED
$50-110 Controls the Preasure entering the gun maintaing stable velocities, and improving accuracy.
Raised Sight Rail
$15-30 Doesn't really affect performance but looks pretty cool and raises the sight a few inches on the gun
Front bolt
$20-30 Supposidly increases accuracy but I have not heard anything good about them
Verticle Adaptor
Neccessary if you want to add an expansion chamber or regulator, Can also be used to mount the bottle verticle instead of horizontaly.
Air Tipps Custom Hammer RECOMMENDED
$70 Repalces the rear bolt/hammer, i know its kinda pricy but greatly reduces recoil and lightens trigger Pull.
Please give me your experiences with the products. Let me know the pros and cons of the product price and where you purchased it.
