Bought this car in 1999 for $250
Worked on cleaning it up & seeing where the damage was...
Did the body work & primed the car.
Fall of 2000, the car's orig. 350 was seized & had to be bored 30^ (it is now a 355).
Work was on hold for a while to put up a new garage
Spring of 2002 - put in new floor pans & worked on interior.
Got new cowl hood & engine started.
Summer of '02 - Worked on the interior more & tried to prime with black enamel
(couldn't find black primer anywhere) - it didn't work.
Got some chrome & steel goodies for the engine.
Took the car down to bare metal & put a good coat of grey primer on it.
March'03-Drove car up & down driveway :)
May'03-Got EZ Wiring @ Carlisle & put that in (not too bad, but no fun either)
June'03-Chose paint~Tuxedo Black & Mercury Silver Metallic
July 19, 2003 - Car was painted by P. Leedy
Base/Clear & baked in booth - done in 8 hrs
July-Aug - New windshield & interior put in
Aug 7-18 - Bought 202 (64cc) heads & sent to R. Cannon
to have them done - had 194s on it before
Aug 24, 2003 - Car Finished.
