Mercy for All Creation

In the same way that Allah is the Lord and Creator of everything (al-Alameen), the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is a mercy and blessing for everything (al-Alameen).

Verily in the (Qur'an) is a Message for people who would (truly) worship Allah. (O beloved prophet!) We sent you not but as a mercy and blessing for the entire universe (al-Alameen). Say: "What has come to me by inspiration is that your Allah is One Allah: will ye therefore bow to His Will (in Islam)?" [Holy Qur'an 21:106-108]

Lifeless Objects Testify To His Prophethood:

The Holy Prophet said, "I have been sent as a prophet for all of Allah's creation," (Muslim)

1. A villager came to the Holy Prophet and said, "what proof can you give me that you are a true prophet?" The Holy Prophet replied, "If I call that bunch of dates from that date-palm tree, it will come to me and testify that I am Allah's (true) prophet." The holy Prophet then called it. That bunch of dates began to come down the palm tree and fell at the Holy Prophet's feet. Then the Holy Prophet commanded it to return to its place. The bunch of dates then returned to its original place on the palm tree. (Having seen the miracle, the villager accepted Islam). (Tirmizi)

2. Hazrat Ali (R.A.) says that I once accompanied the Holy Prophet on a journey outside Makkah. Every tree and stone that we passed said aloud, "Assalaamu aliaka ya Rasoolallah!" (blessings and salutations upon you O Holy Prophet!) (Tirmizi)

3. Once the Holy Prophet said to a disbeliever, "Testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad (pbuh) is His (noble) servant and prophet." The disbeliever said, "Who will testify to what you say?" The Holy Prophet replied "That tree which is before us." The Holy Prophet called the tree. Pulling its roots from the ground, the tree advanced until it was present before the Holy Prophet. It then testified three times that the Holy Prophet was indeed Allah's true prophet in clear audible human words! Then it returned to its original place at the Holy Prophet's command. (Mishkat)

Mercy is for those who fear Allah and do good:

Do no mischief on the earth after it hath been set in order but call on Him with fear and longing (in your hearts): for the mercy of Allah is (always) near to those who do good. [Holy Qur'an 7:56]

Mercy is for those who fear Allah and believe in the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh):

O ye that believe! fear Allah and believe in His apostle and He will bestow on you a double portion of His Mercy: He will provide for you a light by which ye shall walk (straight in your path) and He will forgive you (your past): For Allah is Oft-Forgiving. Most Merciful [Holy Qur'an 57:28]

No guidance is shown to those who choose to follow their own vain desires:

Then seest thou such a one as takes as his god his own vain desire? Allah has knowing (him as such) left him astray and sealed His hearing and his heart (and understanding) and put a cover on his sight. Who then will guide him after Allah (has withdrawn Guidance)? Will ye not then receive admonition? [Holy Qur'an 45:3]

Mercy will be shown to those who believed and did righteous deeds, and no one will be there to help those who rejected Allah:

Then as to those who believed and did righteous deeds their Lord will admit them to His Mercy: that will be the Achievement for all to see. But as to those who reject Allah (to them will be said): "Were not Our Signs rehearsed to you? But ye were arrogant and were a people given to sin! [Holy Qur'an 45:30-31]

Allah has kept 99% of his Mercy with himself, and will use this on the Day of Resurection on those who believed in him and followed the Messenger.

Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said: There are one hundred (parts of) mercy of Allah and He has sent down out of these one part of mercy upon the jinn and human beings and the insects and it is because of this (one part) that they love one another, show kindness to one another and even the beast treats its young one with affection, and Allah has reserved ninety-nine parts of mercy with which He would treat His servants on the Day of Resurrection. (Bukhari)

Believers who have sinned will be saved by the Grace and Mercy of Allah:

A man will come before Allah on the day of Judgment and will be asked "What have you brought with you?". The man will say "I have brought with me the recitations of two-hundred-and-fifty Qur'ans". Allah will say "It is not accepted. Not one of them". Allah will again ask him and the man will say "I have prayed fives times a day". Allah will again say "It is not accepted". Again Allah will ask him and he will say "I have fasted during the month of Ramadan". Allah will reply again "It is not accpeted". The man will begin to shiver with fear and will finally say "I came here in the hope that Allah will forgive me through his Mercy". Allah will say to him "It is accepted from you. your sins are forgiven, go and enter paradise". (Hadith)

I bear Witness that there is no deity but Allah who has no partner and I bear witness that Muhammad, peace be upon him, is the servant and messenger of Allah.
