And
they say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!"
Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! At it the skies
are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the
mountains to fall down in utter ruin, That they should invoke a
son for (Allah) Most Gracious. For it is not consonant with the
majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son.
[Holy Qur’an 19:88-92]
For
God so loved the world, that he gave his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life. [John 3:16]
God had SONS by the TONS in the Bible. Some of them were even
called FIRST BORNS:
"I
will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me (David), THOU
ART MY SON; this day have I BEGOTTEN
THEE." [Psalms 2:7]
"And
thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel (Jacob)
is MY SON, even my FIRSTBORN" [Exodus
4:22]
".…I
am a FATHER to Israel (Jacob), and Ephraim is MY
FIRSTBORN." [Jeremiah
31:9]
"He
shall build an house for my name; and he shall be MY SON,
and I will be HIS FATHER; and I will establish
the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever." [2
Samuel 7:13-14] & [1 Chronicles 22:10]
"And
devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art
Christ the Son of God. And he REBUKING them
suffered them not to speak: FOR THEY KNEW THAT HE WAS
CHRIST. (the devils knew that he was Christ and not the
Son of God)" [Luke
4:41]
"That
ye may be the CHILDREN of your FATHER
which is in heaven:" [Matthew
5:45]
"Be
ye therefore perfect, even as YOUR FATHER which
is in heaven is perfect." [Matthew
5:48]
It was Paul who preached it that Jesus was the son of God:
"And
straightway he (Paul) preached Christ in the synagogues, that he
is the Son of God." [Acts
9:20]
Jews
tried to kill Paul:
"But
the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the
chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and
Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts" [Acts
13:50]
"Then
certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks,
encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say?
other some, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods:
because he preached unto them Jesus, and the resurrection" [Acts
17:18]
"Crying
out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men
every where against the people, and the law, and this place: and
further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted
this holy place." [Acts
21:28]
