Twenty-one years after the Battle of Endor, when Anakin was fifteen years old, he became one of Luke's two apprentices (the other is Jacen). During the Yuuzhan Vong attack on Dubrillion, Anakin served as the focal point for a complete mental joining that allowed him and his siblings, Jaina and Jacen, to act as one within the Force. This proved to be the key to defeating the extragalactic invaders in that battle. Later, he came up with the idea that also destroyed the Yuuzhan Vong's primary base on Helska 4.
