INDEX
wager15
She spelled her own middle name "Louesa." Born and raised in Argyle until she was 23, she moved with her parents and brother Fred to a farm near Saranac, Ionia County, Michigan. She worked as a pianist, organist and music teacher, although it isn't sure where she learned music in Argyle. She also made hats and ran a millinery business until it was sold in 1900. She was seriously ailing during the last three years of her life. She is buried with her husband in Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing, Michigan.
