Anna Scott, an up and coming actress, is offered the part of Alice in Ryan Phillippe's new movie AntiTrust. During filming, Anna and Ryan fall in love, and are know as hollywood's premiere couple until jealousy breaks up the couple. Anna's best friend Reese is having her twenty first birthday party and the guest list includes Ryan. Reese and Ryan meet and start writing love letters to each other for the next year. Anna had thought she was over Ryan but things get even harder when Ryan, Anna, and Reese are cast to star in Cruel Intentions together.
