AL JOLSON A work somewhat in progress, but what the hey: Aldy presents  THE COMPLETE AL JOLSON, 1911-1932 all the commercial recordings plus a bonus disc of soundtracks.

A new project to document the singing career of Dick Todd has been started.

RUDY VALEE     No it won't be a complete Rudy Vallee - not just yet, anyway! - but it will be a generous sample of his classic 78s. Who knows? Maybe one ambitious toaster out there feels like using these discs, from Aldy and Demento, as the foundation of a complete Vallee series. Check it out: Rudy Vallee!

John has a want list of Burtnett sides he's missing, so get in touch with him if you happen to be sitting on a major stash of the Hotel Biltmore band. This will be a much anticipated four-CD set!

Here are some developments in our continuing attempt to come up with a comprehensive toasting of the CALIFORNIA RAMBLERS and related Ed Kirkeby-managed bands. A complete series, particularly of the Ramblers unit itself, is a long way off, but Toast of New York is on the case! For a complete list of all our Ramblers-related projects, click here!

FREDDY MARTIN - Round One Al Simmons diligently put this together for us, it's nine roughly chronological CDs of Freddy Martin and his Orchestra from the pre-war era. It's not complete, but it's a darn good start, and it's something to listen to until the unlikely point when someone decides that they indeed want to work on a complete Freddy Martin!
