Well we have now completed our mini tour of England and it has not been too bad for a band as crap as us. Our final destination was the Redhouse in Manchester on the 23rd and it didn’t really go as well as we had hoped. However the turn out was great, we probably had near to 20 people (if not more) there.

The first band on were a typical English old-skool punk band called Eastfield who were fun to watch. They came on first cause they had a train to catch home that same night and couldn’t risk missing it. So that then made us the 2nd band on that night. After Eastfield had finished their set the anticipation began. Enuff Squirrel were about to play in the middle of the card at a prestigious punk venue. We set up our stuff and then we got our very own introduction by 2 loyal fans. Dan B and Dan H of Slowlydownward fame. After that we kicked off our set with the Squirrel song and then played a set that closely resembled the colour brown!

In the first third of the set Dearden was busted wide open somehow, however he still managed to make it through the rest of the set despite staining the drum kit (which wasn’t his) with his moron juices (blood). I was kinda depressed at the sound levels again… the best PA we’ve used so far is the one that a bunch of jacks just set up really quickly at the Oldham gig. Anyway we made do with a PA where I SSSSOOOO couldn’t hear myself “sing” or Josh for that matter. And when Fraggle Rawk came along our friends put the claps in the correct places and Gill Cat screamed “PUNK RAWK” at the right time. Afterwards people didn’t say anything bad about us and they all seemed happy, so who am I to complain about that. People came so far out of their way to see us, which rocked. Thanks to everyone who did that, especially people who don’t know us too well!! You guys rule!

Anyway after we finished, Snorkel came on and the drummer kicked ball and then we left Anal Beard in favour of going home. We were offered money too… which means we’ve kinda had potential to be paid at EVERY gig so far, but have walked out early on 2 payments… we are fools! Now look at pictures...
