911/ATTACK
We never know when we, too, will be called into eternity. I doubt if even one of those people who got on those planes, or walked into the World Trade Center or the Pentagon that morning thought it would be the last day of their lives.

This site is intended as a place to remember and celebrate the lives of those lost on September 11, 2001.
In Remembrance
September 11, 2001
the darkness of the day
so many lives did we pay
buildings smoking & in flame
we waited to place blame
too many tears
all who lived that day will recall for years
horror, grief, anger, sadness
caused by some evil madness
the Twin Towers became Ground Zero
the gathering place for many a Hero
tears they wept
but resolve they kept
as each plane crashed
lives and dreams were dashed
the flag displayed
the bagpipes played
In Memory of the Thousands who Lives were taken
In Tribute to the Thousands who Worked Endlessly
In Dedication to All Who Lost that day
My words may be few
but My Heart is filled with more than they can speak.
From the sorrow and pain of loss
To the Pride I feel in being an American
September 11th 2001
May have been one of Our darkest Hours
but it also was one of our Brightest Moments
As the World stood together
In Silence and Tears
September 11, 2001, a day now etched in history. Thousands lost their lives when two planes were crashed into New York's World Trade Center, another into the Pentagon in Washington D.C. and a fourth, headed for Washington D.C., fell short in a Pennsylvania field.
Just as the senseless attacks destroyed buildings and our feelings of security, they also threatened our concept of a loving God. We are led to ask the question, Where was God in those critical moments that meant the difference between life and death for so many? He was there. He was with those who lived and those who died, hearing every prayer. He felt the anguish of every person suffering in confused darkness and silence.
This 911Remembrance site is dedicated to helping you see and know God better. Please take some time to explore and personally discover or deepen your understanding of the God who cares.
