How To Keep Your Deliverance

Deliverance is not an end in itself, but only one of several different means that God has provided that will enable us to begin to walk in victory. We cannot remain passive and hope to overcome the attacks of the enemy. Jesus told us in Matthew 12:43-45 that evil spirits will try to return, so we must be diligent and actively resist any attempts of the enemy to regain any place in our lives. Luke 4:13 tells us that Satan will attempt to wait for an "opportune time," and then he will try and slip back into our lives. We need not fear that the enemy can just walk back into our life if we submit ourselves to God.

How to keep your Deliverance

1.The first thing every morning, deliberately yield yourself to Jesus. Matthew 7:21-23 John 14:21; 15:10

2.You MUST maintain a daily prayer life. Matthew 26:41; 1Thess. 5:17

3.Plead the Blood of Jesus over yourself, family, possessions, and all that concerns you. Exodus 12:13; Revelation 12:11

4.You MUST put on the "Whole armor of God." Ephesians 6:10-19

5.You MUST put God's Word first place in your life everyday. Take time to read and meditate on God's Word, because faith, as well as unbelief comes from what we read. Psalms 119:111; Joshua 1:8

6.Seek to be continuously filled with the Holy Spirit and pray in the Spirit daily. Ephesians 5:18; 6:18; Romans 8:13; 8:26, 27, Jude 20

7.Claim the scriptural promise that the demonic powers are dead in your life and shall not live. Isaiah 26:13,14

8.Avoid people that will influence you and cause you to fall back into a sinful lifestyle. 1 Corinthians 15:33; James 4:4

9.Develop a positive attitude and avoid complaining; focus on Jesus, not on yourself. John 12:32; Philippians 3:8

10.Resist the devil and he will flee. James 4:7

11.Crucify the flesh and bring it under subjection. Romans 6:6,11; 8:13

12.Be led by the Spirit. Romans 8:14; Galatians 5:16

13.Cultivate a renewed mind. Romans 12:1,2

14.Practice praise. Isaiah 60:18; 61:3; Romans 8:28; Hebrews 13:15

15. Develop a strong, dynamic faith. Mark 4:24; Luke 8:18; Romans 10:17

16. Use your weapons of defense. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5; Ephesians 6:13-17

17. Use your weapons of attack-The Word, The Blood, The Name of Jesus, The Holy Spirit, Prayer, Praise, and a Positive Confession of Faith. Psalms 149:6-8; Matthew 12:28; 18:18,19; Mark 6:17; Ephesians 6:17; Rev. 12:11

18. TitheS!!! God has promised that He will bless us if we tithe. He also told us, we would be under a curse, if we withhold our tithes. Mal. 3:10-11

19. You MUST faithfully attend church services where you can fellowship, praise, worship, and hear the Word of God preached with other faithful believers.
