Cabin fever gotcha? Why don't you give us a call, or drop a few lines and take advantage of the services we offer during the winter months. We offer guided cross country skiing and snowshoeing excursions in a variety of locations.
Woosh along on groomed cross country trails, or blaze a trail through the winter wilderness. Or if you'd rather, strap on the snowshoes and go for a winter hike. Either way there's something very special about being in the New Hampshire forest after a fresh snowfall. Not only is it a great way to deal with cabin fever, but it's good exercise and a surefire way to begin addressing those few extra holiday pounds. Enjoy an open fire lunch, or snacks and hot drinks, and plenty of pleasant conversation. And as with all Talon Adventures, you never know what forest inhabitant(s) you might encounter. You'll definitely want to bring that camera along.

Cross Country Ski Excursions
Woosh along on a groomed cross country ski trail and let the quiet of the winter woods soothe you. Let Rick take you through the local cross country course's tangle of trails and get you out of the woods safely before dark.
Or if you'd rather, you can blaze your own trail in the NH wilderness. Oh, you won't be so far from civilization that you need worry. Rick knows the "Great North Woods" intimately and will put together a trek suitable to your experience and ability level.
Note that the prices below reflect the cost for two skiers. There is a $15 charge for each additional skier. Skis must be provided by the skier(s), or can be rented locally. Day packs and lunches, snacks and hot drinks are provided with full day trips. Half day trips include snacks and hot drinks.

Snowshoeing Excursions
If skiing doesn't appeal to you, let Rick take you on a winter hike on snowshoes. We'll take you to a picturesque location for the hike, and provide day packs and lunches or snacks and hot drinks and there's always friendly conversation on and off the trail. Snowshoes can be rented locally.
Full Day Trip -- $125 (Includes lunch, snacks and hot drinks)
Half Day Trip -- $75 (Includes snacks and hot drinks) |
