Tumblebrutus is most memberable because of the flips and somersaults he executes throughout the show. He's one of Mistoffelees' best friends it seems, and the performers' dancing abilities are nearly matched. Tumblebrutus is a young tom who likes to jump around a bit it seems, showing off to the bigger toms like Rum Tum Tugger, Munkustrap, and Alonzo. In the Broadway production, he's the one who dances with Victoria in The Jellicle Ball's "mating dance". Some fans can see him paired with the young queens, Victoria and Jemima, the females he seems to hang around a lot during the show. In the London show, Tumblebrutus is actually Bill Bailey. In the video, the Tumblebrutus seen is wearing a Bill Bailey costume. It is in Broadway that he goes by the name Tumblebrutus, and not Bill Bailey. |
