The Church of St.Nickolay The Church of St.Nickolay The Church of St.Nickolay

Until 1860s this church was wooden. But after it had burnt down in 1865 the stone church was built.
The main altar of this church is dedicated to St.Nickolay, the northern part to Archangel Michail, the southern part at first was dedicated to St.Tikhon Zadonsky and later to St.Ioasaf Belgorodsky.

This church was built in 1884. In 1908 the parish was of 683 people.
During communist times the church was closed and destroyed very much.
It was restored and sanctified in 1996.

This stone church was built in 1796.

In 1700s the village of Ivanovskaya Lisitsa became the property of Field-Marshal Count (Graf) Boris Sheremetiev. In 1756 some fortifications were in this village. In 1870 the wooden church of St.John the Forerunner was built. In 1903 the wooden church was replaced by the stone one.
During communist times the church was closed and destroyed.
It was restored in 1995.

The wooden church was built in 1780, and it was re-built in 1834 and 1907.
