What a WONDERFUL site, especially the POW/MIA page. I am an associate member of the V V A as well as an auxillary member of the American Legion & have been wearing a POW/MIA bracelet for 10+ years. I was looking for anything on one of my favorite authors, Mary Lasswell, & your site showed up.

I haven't read any of her non-Suds books, but plan to acquire some and read them, too. Do you know if Mary is still alive? I haven't been able to find out much about her on the web. I think she lived or retired in Austin, Texas, and if that's so and she's still alive, I would love to talk to her and thank her for all the pleasure her books have given me over the years. Thank you for your sight, it is good to know that there are those out there who do not discourage those who are white from seeking the ways of the Great Spirit.
