Malaysia

Malaysia is a very beautiful country of Asia with a population of about 22 Million (2000) and per capita GDP US$ 3,270. Total area of the coun­try is 329,758  sq. Km. Local currency is Ringgit (*MYR) US$1 = MYR 3.8. Kuala Lumpur is the capital city. The official language of the country is called “Bahasa Malaysia” or Malaya.

Offered Courses: Courses are being offered at “A” levels, Diploma (1-2 year), bachelor degree (3-4 years) and master (1 ˝ - 2 years) levels in commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, Computer, Economics, Information Management, Law, ACCA, Engineering and many more. Usaullay the colleges offer British, Australian or American degrees. So the credit hours are transferable to almost anywhere in the world. Medium of instruction is English for all courses.

 Admission Requirements: Basically you need to have 11 years of education for a foundation or “A” levels course. an intermedi­ate certificate with good grades for bachelor and a master degree (or an honors degree) for admission in a master degree. In some degree courses you also need to show the proof of English proficiency.

Average Fees: Per year average fee is about US$1600 to US$3200 for undergraduate courses . Usually one academic year is divided into two semesters. Before going there you have to deposit fee for one academic year.

Living: Per month living (Accommodation & Food) can cost you about US$200.

Intakes: Intakes are different for different courses in: January, May, July, September and December each year.

Visa: Usually visa is arranged by the college and for undergraduate courses, the age limit for international students is, 25 years.
