Garlic Wings - Patty Andrasek

  1. Place in a large roasting pan: 1 8lb bag of frozen chicken wings (Tyson brand is the best because they are individually frozen)
  2. Coat wings with: 2 8oz bottles of Kikkoman Teriyaki sauce
  3. Add: 4 cloves garlic, minced
  4. Spinkle with: 1/4 c garlic powder
  5. Bake 400 degrees (F) for about 40 minutes
  6. Turn wings over with a spatula
  7. Sprinkle with: 1/4 c garlic powder
  8. Continue baking for an additional 20 minutes
  9. To crisp the wings, broil for approximately 5 - 10 minutes before removing from the oven

 

Potato Casserole  - Linda Barnett

 

24oz Ore Ida Hash Browns

12 oz Sour Cream

1 can Cream of Chicken Soup

Onion Powder

2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Thaw hash browns. Mix all indredients well and bake at 350 degrees for one hour.

 

Mushroom Pasta Pilaf - Lydia Montalvo

 

1 small onion, chopped

1/4 cup margarine

1 1/3 cups uncooked ring, orzo or other small pasta

1 can beef broth, undiluted (or you can use chicken broth)

1 cup water

1 T Worcestershire sauce

1 t salt

1/4 t soy sauce

In a large skillet, saute onion in butter till tender. Add remaining ingredients, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until the pasta is tender and liquid is absorbed.

 

Southwest White Chili - Mary Colovas

 

1 T olive oil

1 1/2 lbs boneless chicken breast, cubed

1 small onion

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup green pepper

2 stalks celery

1 large can cannelloni beans, undrained

1 can dark kidney beans, drained

1 can chickpees, drained

1/4 pound cooked pasted

 

Southwest Spice Blend

1t garlic powder

1 t ground cumin

1/2 t ground oregano

1/2 t cilantro leaves

1/2 t black pepper

1/2 t ground red peppers

1 t ground basil leaves

 

1. Heat oil in large saucepan over medium high heat. Add chicken and onions; cook 4 - 5 minutes.

2. Stir in broth, green peppers and celery. Bring to a boil and add spice blend. Reduce heat to simmer.

3. Stir in beans and cooked pasta. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes till heated through.

4. Serve topped with monterey jack cheese and sour cream if desired.

(If chili is thin add 1 T of flour after adding beans and pasta.)

 

 

 

Serial Chicken - Laura Ponikvar

 

Okay, Okay its cereal chicken, not serial chicken! Breaded chick with captain crunch cereal or breaded chicken with corn flakes. Fast, Easy and Yummy.

 

 

Pumpkin Cheesecake Bars - Joyce Hinkle

 

1 pound cake box mix

3 eggs

2 T margarine (melted)

4 t pumpkin pie spice

1/2 t salt

1 8oz pkg cream cheese

1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk

2 c pie pumpkin

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix dry cake mix (entire box), 1 egg, melted margarine (no shortening), and 2

tsp Pumpkin pie spice. Mix 'til crumbly. Press into bottom of 9X12 or 10X15 cake pan. This makes the crust.

 

Mix cream cheese until softened. Add milk, 2 eggs, pumpkin, salt and pumpkin pie spice. Pour into crust.

 

Bake 35 - 45 minutes until set. Cool. Chill and cut into small servings. Top with whipped cream if desired.
