Original Roster of Company K, 81st Penn.Volunteer Infantry Reg't
As Updated 2/27/2010
Below is the original roster of Company K. It is the culmination of many hours of work done by our members over the years. Recently the bulk of this work has been completed by our unit historian, Ted Dombroski. The roster research originally began with information taken from Samuel Bates’ book, A History of Pennsylvania Volunteers 1861 – 65. However, the roster has been molded to its present condition due to cemetery visits, descendant contacts, research of military and pension records, etc. We still have blanks to fill in, but we are constantly working toward completion, thus the roster will continue to evolve. (Information will continue to be posted. Please come back!)
If you are a descendant of one of the men listed, of one not listed that you think should be, or of a man from another company of the 81st PA and have any information about them PLEASE contact us. We have learned a lot from descendants coming to us with information that was otherwise unknown and unaccessible.
