While touring Gettysburg, most visitors follow the standard tour of the battlefield mapped out by the National Park Service or the local tour companies. Little is known about the serendipitous sites that lie unknown to the average tourist here at Gettysburg. Off the Beaten Path will be some of those events that took place at Gettysburg, but are not too often mentioned.
Gettysburg was such a large battle and took a full three days to decide. there are alot of things about this famous battle that are left unsaid and talked about, yet they are very important and need to be added to get the full picture on what happened on those three terrible days in July of 1863.
This page of sites will be like a "Secrets of The Battlefield", things that most of the general population dont know about.....until now!
