| Burial Information for Capt. Robert Levan Orr , Company O, 23rd Pennsylvania.Mustered into the 23rd PA on september 2nd 1861. tranfered to 61st PA on March 12th 1862. Promoted to Major December 18th 1864. wounded at Peterburg Virginia on april 2nd 1865. Promoted to Lt. col. on May 14th 1865. Mustered out with Regiment on June 28th 1865. Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor recipient. Served as Colonel of the 61st Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. He was awarded the CMOH for his bravery at Petersburg, Virginia on April 2, 1865. His citation reads "Carried the colors at the head of the column in the assault after two color bearers had been shot down". His Medal was awarded to him on November 28, 1892. He died on November 15th 1894 and was buried in Monument Cemetery. The Cemetery was removed to Lawnview Cemetery in Rockledge, PA in 1951. He is buried there in Section Susquahanna, Lot 342, Grave 2S.

| Burial Information for Corp. Samuel Barr , Company D, 23rd Pennsylvania Volunteers. He mustered in on August 21st 1861 and served three years. Samuel reenlisted and was transfered to the 82nd PA, company H. He was mustered out of Service on July 13th 1865.He is buried at westminster Cemetery in Bala Cynwd, PA in Section Bartram, Lot 604, Grave 5.

| Burial Information for Sgt. William Schrutretter Company A, 23rd Pennsylvania. Volunteers. He enlisted on August 8th 1861 and was mustered out on September 8th 1864. After the war, he moved to Gettysburg PA. He is buried in Gettysburg National Cemetery in Section 8L, Row B, Position 15.

| Burial Information for Capt. Sylvester D. Rhoads 23rd Pennsylvania Volunteers, Company L. Mustered on on November 20th 1861. transfered to the 61st PA on february 13th 1862. Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. Served in the Civil War as a Sergeant in Company D, 61st Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry. He was awarded the CMOH for his bravery at Fisher's Hill, Virginia on September 22, 1864. His citation reads "Was on the skirmish line which drove the enemy from the first entrenchment and was the first man to enter the breastworks, capturing one of the guns and turning it upon the enemy". His Medal was awarded to him on February 16, 1897. he died on August 29th 1904 and is buried at Hollenback Cemetery in wilkes Barre, PA.

| Burial Information for Lt. Thomas J. Armstrong Company G,23rd Pennsylvania Volunteers. He was mustered in on September 2nd 1861.Promoted to 1st Lt. on September 2nd 1861. Detached to General Shalers Staff on August 31st 1862. Died at Camp in Brandy Station on January 2nd 1864. He is Buried at Allegheny Cemetery in Pittsburg, PA in Section 29, Lot 140-141, Grave 5.
