This is the 1850 lancaster County,PA Census Record for George Shue , Company I, 23rd Pennsylvania Volunteers, "Birney's Zouaves" . He was Six years old and the Son of a farmer in 1850.
This is the 1860 York County,PA Census Record for George Shue , Company I, 23rd Pennsylvania Volunteers, "Birney's Zouaves" . He was Twenty Six years old and his occupation was Farmer in 1870.
This is the 1870 York County,PA Census Record for George Shue , Company I, 23rd Pennsylvania Volunteers, "Birney's Zouaves" . He was Sixteen years old and the Son of a farmer in 1860.
This is the 1870 Census Record of Sergeant John F. Reen Company G , 23rd Pennsylvania Volunteers. Born in Ireland, He was a farmer and 31 years of age in 1870. He lived in the 64th District, 20th Ward. His wife Hannah A. Reen was 18 years of age and a housekeeper. They had a domestic servant named Bridget Mulligan. The total value of his property was $5,000. John F. Reen was wounded 11 times during the Civil War. Wounded 5 Times at fair Oaks, May 31st 1862. Wounded Marye's Heights, May 3rd 1863. Wounded at Petersburg. Wounded 4 Times at Sailors Creek. He would only live two more years, dying in 1872.
This is the 1870 Census Record of 3rd Corporal John G. Brass Company D , 23rd Pennsylvania Volunteers, Three Months Regiment. He also served as the captain of the 91st PA. He was 31 Years of Old in 1870, Married to Mary (Age 30) and was a Moulder. He had three Children: Jacob, Catherine and Charles.
