I have created a brand new page for "Camp Clark" , in which the 23rd Pennsylvania moved to in February 1862 to get away from Typhiod Fever that had swept through Camp Graham, and took 52 lives. Recently, I discovered the site of their encampment and went to take modern pictures.
Not much is known about this site, however it was here in this camp where one of the most famous letters written my Major Sullivan Ballou, 2nd RI Volunteers, was written to his wife, predicting his death. I have included this letter and some other photos on the Page.
