The Obituary of Lt.Thomas J. Armstrong,23rd Pennsylvania Volunteers. He died during the winter encampment at Brandy Station. His Reamins were shipped to Pittsburgh but at this time we have no information as to the location of his burial. If anyone has information on this, please let us know.
The Obituary of Alexander H. George , Company B 23rd Pennsylvania Volunteers. He died on April 26th 1927. He id buried at Hart's Chapel Cemetery in Elk Neck Maryland. He was the Great Grandson of Alexander Hamilton, the Secratary of the Treasury pictured on the 10 Dollar Bill. He was appointed Postmaster of elk Nexk in 1864 by President Abraham Lincoln. The Obituary is from the April 27th 1927 Cecil Whig.

The Obituary of Alonzo Engleman Company K, 23rd Pennsylvania. He died on September 17th 1881, and is buried at Lawnview Cemetery in Rockledge PA in Section Norris Lawn, Row 21, Grave 22. The Obituary is from The Philadelphia Inquirer on March 3rd 1863.
The Obituary of Benard Quinn , Company C, 23rd Pennsylvania, three month volunteers. He died on August 12th 1861. The Obituary is from The Philadelphia Inquirer on August 16th 1861.
