The Obituary of John Frederick Blum ,Company B, 23rd PA. john was born on June 8th 1844 in Philadelphia. He mustered into service on September 1st 1861 in Philadelphia. He was wounded at the Battle of Fair Oaks on May 31st 1862. He was discharged on a Surgeons Certificate on November 10th 1862.He became a "Born again" Christian in his later years and dedicated his life to the service of Jesus Christ. He died of old age on September 16th 1926 and is buried at evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald Georgia.
The Obituary of Joseph Emmet Walker , Company P 23rd Pennsylvania Volunteers. He died on January 30th 1862 at Camp graham, Washington D.C. of typhiod Fever. The Obituary is from the February 1st 1862 Philadelphia Inquirer. he is buried at Fernwood Cemetery in Lansdowne PA in Section 41, Lot 106, Eastside. His grave is in the "Berger" Plot. The Obituary of Robert Egner,Company E, 23rd Pennsylvania. He died on May 16th 1912 and is buried at Greenmount Cemetery in West Chester,PA. His grave is under a tree just to the Right as you enter the Cemetery. He was mustered in on August 14th 1861, wounded at Cold Harbor on June 1st 1864 and mustered out with the company on September 8th 1864.
The Obituary of Robert Gordon , Company E, 23rd Pennsylvania. He died on January 8th 1862 of Typhiod Fever contracted at Camp graham in Washington D.C., and is buried at Mt.
