POKÉMON RED & BLUE
Unlimited Items Glitch
This trick can be accessed near the end of the game. First off, put the item you want to have unlimited of in the sixth slot in your item list. Once you get the HM Abilities SURF and FLY, FLY directly to Virdian City. Find the man in the northern part of town who showed you how to catch a Weedle early in the game. Talk to him and answer NO to his question. He'll show you how to capture Weedle again. After he finishes, FLY to Fuschia City. Go to the southern part of town and SURF in the water to Seafoam Island. On the bay of the island, SURF up and down the tiles where it looks about half land and half water. You should eventually get attacked by a weird glitched Pokémon named MissingNo. or "M". Whatever you do, do not capture these Pokémon. Run away or defeat you. Once finishing the battle, you should have a weird sign next to your sixth item representing you have unlimited of that item. This is incredibly helpful when used on Rare Candies or the Master Ball.
Cut Down Grassy Areas
This trick can be done once getting the HM Ability CUT. If you want to avoid battles in grassy areas, go to the side of the grassy area and use CUT. Some of the grass will be cut away allowing you to walk through without getting attacked by Pokémon. But, this isn't permanent.
Fight Safari Zone Pokémon
This is another glitch that can help you fight the Safari Zone Pokémon and use your normal PokéBalls to capture them with. FLY directly to Fuschia City. Go to the Safari Zone and go to the Safari Zone. Once inside, go to the grassy area where the Safari Zone Pokémon you want to capture usually appears. Walk around in the grass until your time runs out. Then, go to the southern part of town and SURF to the bay of Seafoam Island. SURF up and down the tile that looks like half land and half water. You should be attacked by Safari Zone Pokémon. What is neat about this trick is that it doesn't have to be Safari Zone Pokémon. If you go to a grassy area somewhere else and then go SURF at Seafoam Island, those Pokémon will appear there instead.
Get MissingNo. Glitch
Warning! Try this code at your own risk. It has a chance of erasing a saved file or totally glitching up your Hall of Fame. Do the Unlimited Item Glitch code and you can run into MissingNo. or another Pokémon named "M". These are not real Pokémon, they are simply glitches. MissingNo. is at about :L80, but has bad defense. "M" is at about :L0 and is terrible all together. These Pokémon, if traded, can mess up the other person's game as well.
Secret Coins in the Game Corner
While at the Game Corner in Celadon City, you can get coins easier without having to purchase them or win them in the slot game. Make sure you have the Coin Case from the man in the resteraunt beside the Game Corner first. It allows you to carry coins. While in the Game Corner, as you walk around on the tiles, repeatadily press the A Button. Usually, you can find hidden coins on the floor. You can get up to almost 100 coins by looking on the floor.
Defeat the Gym Leaders
There are eight Gym Leaders in Pokémon. Each one uses his or her own different types of Pokémon. The first Gym Leader is Brock, who is in Pewter City. If you begin with Charmander, this may be a hard battle. He uses rock Pokémon, so Grass and Water Pokémon will work well against his. Next is Misty in Cerulean City. Use Electric or Grass Pokémon against her, since she uses all Water based Pokémon. Bulbasaur or Pikachu do well here. Next up is Lt.Surge in Vermillion City. To access his gym, you must use the HM Ability CUT to chop down the tree guarding the entrance to his gym. He uses all Electric based Pokémon, so using Ground or Rock would help since they aren't effected by electricity that much. After these three gyms, you have a must go to Celadon City and defeat Erika who uses Grass Pokémon. Use Fire Pokémon against her. Once doing this, you can either head to Fuschia City and defeat Koga who uses Poison Pokémon (use Psychic) or go to Saffron City and defeat Sabrina. To get to Saffron City, buy a drink at the department store roof in Celadon City. Give it to one of the guards who are blocking the way to Saffron City. Saffron City is invaded by Team Rocket, so in order to access the Gym, you must finish the Game Corner Rocket Hideout in Cerulean City, then finish the Silph Co. Hideout in Saffron City. Finally, the gym will be open. To access her using the teleporters, just keep using the one to your top. You'll eventually reach her. She uses Psychic, so I recommend you use Ghost. Then, in Cinnabar Island, you must fight Blaine, who uses Fire Pokémon. To reach his gym, you must find the key to it inside the rundown mansion first. Blaine uses all Fire Pokémon, so use Water against him. Finally, SURF northern from Cerulean City to return to Pallet Town. The gym in Viridian City is open again, so head there and battle Giovanni, the Gym Leader and Team Rocket Boss. Use Ice, Water, and Grass Pokémon. Now, you can access the Indigo Plateau and battle the Elite Four.
