Depth of Character

Depth of character is a great thing to strive towards. Each character has a history and a background whether their one who chooses to speak of it often or not at all. These pieces of information and stories strengthen the illusion of reality about your character.

The more depth your character has, the more questions they're going to create with other surrounding characters. Some might wish to know for negative reasons, while others might wish to know out of pure fascination. The more depth your character possesses the more time it's going to require other characters to understand them.

The more time it requires, the more often you'll discover other characters wishing some of your characters time and this is great for passing a boring hour or just getting to know a few new characters. It increases yur chances of being involved in more situations and possabilities.
