| POWER - Pull the protective tab out from the D-3. |

| HOW TO CHANGE BATTERIES - The D-3 takes 2 "LR44" batteries. Using a small screwdriver, turn the screw counter clockwise to loosen. Slide belt clip up, as shown, and remove. Remove old batteries and insert fresh batteries as indicated in illustration. |
