Well since yer curious, I guess I'll tell ya 'bout myself. I was born in da Knife Clan on da 19th day o' da first month o' Akroeg da Ram in 335, ta me mudder Seja an' me father Caram Madkasi. In case ya been too long gone from da Clans, Makdasi means Wild in Toggish, an' after listenin' ta some o' da stories 'bout my ancestors, I kin see why..... Anyways, dey were good parents, but dey were common folks. Dey tried ta raise me good, but if ya've ever been ta da Knife Clan ya kin see what dey 'ad ta work against. Watchin' day after day as folks came back either wit' other folks goods or wit' da bodies o' a failed raid, it dinna take me long ta figger I wanted gone.
So I did what ever kid does, I ran off ta da Crossins ta join da Barbarian guild. Cept dey dinna want me, said I was too young. So I did a bit o' wanderin', took a scenic tour o' da various town barrooms an' jails. Theren's jails are da worst if ya ask me. Did a year-long stint on da Haven-Langenfirth barges after...well lez jus' say donna make da Theren Guard mad. After dat, I ran back ta Crossins an', luckily fer me, da Barbarian guild accepted me. Been one ever since.
I like ta think o' meself as da local elder, like in some o' da tribes. I try ta make it my job ta see dat all ya young folk know what da traditions are, so's ya can decide if ya wanna follow 'em. I've lived through 3 wars, da Gorbesh, da Sorrow, an' da Outcast Wars.
Right now I'm 48, an' despite my wife retirin' an me gettin' a divorce, I'm still fairly 'appy. I'm still da Recruitin' an' Trainin' Lieutenant fer Allarsk's command o' da Zoluren Navy, but now I'm also 'er second in command as well, so dat keeps me busy. All in all, I'd say dere ain't much I'm wantin' fer.
