The Emperor's Imperial Royal Guards are loyal to their Emperor with every fiber of their existence. They are ready instantly to obey their Emperor's commands and will to die for their Emperor and his ideas. But, how far did loyalty extend? |
KIR KANOS LOYALTY NEVER DIES . . . | |
Loyal. Brave. Relentless. The last of the Emperor's Imperial Royal Guards, once sworn to protect the Emperor with every fiber of his existence; now seek out vengeance on those who betrayed his master and his ideas. Nothing is known of Kir Kanos's life before he began his training to become an Imperial Royal Guardsman. But whatever life it was, it served him well during the rigors of the Guardsman training on the barren world of Yinchorr, making him one of the best among the trainees. |
Eventually, about a year after Kir Kanos started his Guardsman training on Yinvhorr, Kanos was one of four trainees selected to perform one final test before their swore Emperor and his right-hand servant, the monsterous Darth Vader. Kir Kanos was ordered to fight his partner, Lemmet Tauk . . . to the death. He obeyed unquestioningly, and to his dismay, killed his long-time friend. |
But Vader sensed regretful thoughts within the aghast Kanos and challenged him to a duel. Before Kanos could even strike once, Vader cut him down; slashing a searing gash across his face, leaving a permanent scar. It was with this cold reminder of his obligatory loyalty that Kir Kanos was inducted into the Emperor's Imperial Royal Guards. |
Kanos served the Emperor for several years as only a Royal Guardsman could: selfless, merciless and silent. But events beyond his control would change his life forever. The Emperor was killed by the Rebels Alliance in the infamous Battle Of Endor, and, with no Emperor to serve, Kanos carried on alone, trying to live up to the Emperor's ideas and his New Order. With Emperor Palpatine's return years later, Kanos returned to active duty as an Imperial Guardsman. |
But his duty was short-lived, for the Emperor was betrayed by Carnor Jax, a fellow Guardsman, and his cloned bodies were corrupted. Forced to deny himself a warrior's death at Yinchorr, Kir Kanos escaped Jax's slaughter of the Guardsmen in order to exact vengeance on those who had betrayed the Emperor and his Empire. His target: Carnor Jax and members of the Imperial Ruling Council! |
Carnor Jax WITS BROUGHT HIS MASTER DOWNFALL . . . |
|
Nobody ever thought that an Empire
controlled by politicians could one day be ruled by a single soldier.
Carnor Jax changed their minds. Constantly hungry for more power, and
willing to go to any extend to get it, Jax easily filled the void left
behind by Emperor Palpatine's ultimate death- a death he had brought
about himself.
According to Imperial records, Carnor Jax became an Imperial Royal Guardsman in the Galactic Empire at the same time as Kir Kanos. Although they both wore the same crimson uniform, Jax and Kanos were guided by very different goals: while Kanos lived to serve his Emperor, Jax worked only for his own gain at the expense of others. |
During the years after the Battle of Endor and the Emperor's suppose death, Carnor Jax paved the way for his eventual rise to power, much as Palpatine did before him; by gaining political and military allies within the Galactic Empire and the Imperial Ruling Council. He also gained some limited dark-side Force abilities during this time, including levitation and precognition, from the senior Dark Side Adepts who trained the Emperor's Sovereign Protectors. It is not yet known if he was one of them himself. |
Palpatine's sudden return from the brink
of death created an immediate threat to Carnor Jax political
machinations. Jax had already gained favors with the current
Imperial Ruling Council, in the process receiving two flagships, the
Steadfast and the Emperor's Revenge; and his battalion of Imperial
troops. Jax knew that a direct confrontation with Emperor Palpatine was
impossible - Palpatine would foresee and destroy any threat to his own
person. But Jax was able to bribe the Emperor's personal physician to
sabotage Palpatine's clone bodies. Upon the ultimate death of Emperor Palpatine
and with the seat of power suddenly empty, Carnor Jax
skillfully made it his own.
But events out of his control quickly become new dangers to Carnor Jax. Despite his efforts to cover up his role in the Emperor's ultimate death, the Imperial Royal Guards were able to learn the truth. A large contingent of stormtroppers was immediately sent by Jax to ambush the entire Guardsmen at Yinchorr, and they quickly eliminated all of them . . .but one: Kir Kanos. Now, just as Kir Kanos pledge revenge on Carnor Jax for tergerory against Emperor Palpatine, Jax prepare his troops to eliminate Kanos permanently. But, a twist of fates will seal his destiny . . . |
NEW RECORDS FOUND!
MAJOR GRODIN TIERCE Master of Deception? |
Major Grodin Tierce was one of the finest among the Empire's combat
stormtroppers . His successes in both training and battles easily raised
him to command ranks far more quickly than even stormtropper norm. Thus,
when Major Tierce was twenty-four years old, he was selected to become
an Imperial Royal Guards, serving directly under Palpatine. His fierce
loyalty to Emperor Palpatine's New Order was second to none.
Around the time when Emperor Palpatine was killed at Endor; Major Tierce was rotated to regular stormtropper unit, and assigned to Magagran in the Outer Rim, to break up a Rebel Cell. Upon successfully completing the mission, his unit was ordered back; but with the rumor going around about the Emperor's death, Major Tierce decided to jump ship upon reaching Coruscant and salvage the situation. On discovering the truth, he continue to serve the Empire as a Stormtropper, while keeping his true identity a secret. Later, about a month after Grand Admiral Thrawn sudden return from his service in the Unknown Regions, Major Tierce arranged for a transfer to the Chimaera's stromtropper detachment. It was while in this unit that his skillfulness was noticed by Grand Admiral Thrawn. Thrawn thus choose to use Tierce's DNA in creating a clone that has both the skill and loyalty of a stormtropper and the tactic genius of Thrawn himself. The real Major Tierce continue to serve in the stormtropper unit. But, while being part of a stormtropper unit involved in Grand Admiral Thrawn's campaign against Generis, Major Tierce was killed in combat. But the clone of Tierce created by Thrawn continue to serve secretly in Thrawn stormtropper unit. It was this clone that intercepted and killed the Noghri, Rukh at the Chimaera hanger bay. Later, this clone, identifying himself as the real Major Tierce, managed to arranged for a transfer into Moff Disra service at Bastion as a Fleet Adjutant/Military Aide. |
