DEFINITIONS
(Updated: 2/9/14) So, here's the final entry in the Phase 2 portion of tracking Megaforce viewership. And it's not all that much of an update at that, as we have only a Sunday rerun to add and it got all of 878,000 viewers. Over the next week, I'll copy over much of this page's coding as the base for Phase 3, which actually begins with the last weekend of PRM reruns in advance of the PRSM premiere. The Phase 3 graph is already set up. The edu.gov site I use to make the graphs has a 6-item limit, so the only PRM-vs-PRSM numbers comparison that'll be shown on the graph is their inclusive (new eps and reruns) Saturday average viewership. The other averages (new eps and overall) will carry over from the end of Phase 2.
FYI: I'm using the word 'phase' to describe each of the 26-week segments to cover the two years it is expected to take to show all of Megaforce and then get to whatever's next. And, of course, should Cynopsis: Kids! or any other source again make the main Kids 6-11 ratings available, I'll certainly include those numbers here. Another bout of curiosity has caused me to come up with another chart -- the 10 most-watched and 10 least-watched new episodes since PR moved to Nick. You'll notice a trend.
(Total viewership averages for new episodes) Feb-Jun 2011 (PRS-1): 2.936 million viewers Oct-Dec 2011 (PRS-2): 2.159 million (-26.5%) Feb-May 2012 (PRSS-1): 2.034 million viewers Oct-Dec 2012 (PRSS-2): 1.675 million (-17.6%) Feb-Apr 2013 (PRM-1): 1.690 million viewers Sep-Dec 2013 (PRM-2): 1.445 million (-14.5%)
(PRLG average: 0.67 rating / 3.67 share)
