The Guest Stars

As a personal web page, the following represents a purely subjective opinion on the merits of the many wonderful female guest stars of “Star Trek” and their impact on the particular episodes.  They are not judged here on beauty, for they are all fabulously beautiful.  They are not judged on performance, for each one gives a splendid performance.  My top ten female guest stars are rated and remembered for their screen presence and screen time.  Screen time is easy to quantify and really the writers and producers have the final say on this matter.  Screen presence is much harder to quantify, if not define.  It is defined here as that quality of persona that rivets us to the screen.  It is also referred to as Star Quality.  Great presence on stage or screen, not only effects an audience, whether real or virtual, but also affects fellow actors, scenes, and perhaps an entire production.  Still, here lays the opinions of one man.   And, though they are rated from one to ten, they are all champions who helped make “Star Trek” the most successful franchise in the history of television and film, if not all media.
