The town centre, showing the main spine of the town's design - Broadway - leading from the pre-existing Hitchin-Baldock road, through Britain's first roundabout, to the town square ("Kennedy Gardens"), the railway station and - after a short detour - Norton Common. The layout of much of the rest of the town centre is also visible.

The former home of Letchworth Cricket Club (Muddy Lane) is visible in a photograph taken during the last summer cricket was played there.

Letchworth - an otherwise small town in north Hertfordshire, England - is famous as being the world's first "Garden City", being founded in 1903 by Ebenezer Howard. Many social and planning innovations that we take for granted today first appeared in Letchworth. For more information on the town see here.
